New to Norwex?

If you have never heard of Norwex, you may not be alone.  I have recently been asked what is Norwex and how do you use their products.  Some want to know how long has Norwex been in business.  I decided that the best place to start is with the history and an introduction.

Norwex products originated in Norway in 1994. In Europe, microfiber products have been commonly used in homes, hospitals, schools, hotels and various commercial applications for years. The product line was originally developed for the commercial cleaning industry but a local cleaning company in Norway received a sample of a new cleaning product to use in day to day cleaning.

The ideology was then, as it is now, to produce a more efficient cleaning product where only water needs to be added to the cleaning cloth or mop. This led to the decrease in the use of chemicals and other non-biodegradable detergents.

To maintain a cleaner and healthier environment is still a part of the Norwex philosophy today.

In the Spring of 1999, Norwex expanded into Canada and the United States and experienced great success and growth. The business and product line expanded to include personal care without chemicals.

Norwex can only be purchased from an Independent Norwex Consultant and is typically sold through home/office presentations. Through demonstrations we are able to show how the products are used, how you can save time and money, and protect the environment. For example, an Enviro cloth can remove butter from a window in one swipe leaving the window totally dry and grease-free.  Can your cotton microfiber cloth do that?  What about the bacteria left behind?

Customer product favorites include the Antibacterial Enviro Cloth, the Window Cloth, the Dusting Mitt, the Superior Mop with the Rubber Brush, Antibac Face Pack, the DeScaler (for hard water), the Laundry Detergent, and Dryer Balls.

All the products come with a 60-day money back guarantee and the Microfiber products come with a 2-year warranty and the dryer balls come with a 1-year warranty.

The benefits of cleaning with microfiber is that microfiber cloths are environmentally friendly. Norwex has developed a unique technology that combines an antibacterial silver-based agent with the microfiber. The antibacterial agent is actually embedded inside the tiny microfiber and destroys the bacterium that is picked up in its fibers. They can reduce the consumption of cleaning chemicals in your home up to 90% while reducing your exposure to toxic fumes. This helps those with allergies, asthma and chemical sensitivities. The microfiber cloths also removes 99.9% of the bacteria from surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment. Norwex microfiber is a fiber that is 1/100th the size of a strand of human hair, unlike the microfiber that you purchase in other retail stores. The microfiber picks up dirt, grease and moisture leaving a surface clean and dry. The traditional cotton cloth pushes dirt and moisture around, leaving the surface moist and unclean.

The Window cloth allows you to clean windows, mirrors, jewelry and shiny surfaces with water alone. Clean dirty surfaces first with a moist Enviro cloth and then polish with the window cloth for a streak-free shine. On less dirty surfaces, simply spray water on the surface and polish with a dry Window cloth.

I began using Norwex when my granddaughter was born and my children didn’t want to use household chemicals. My kids are so glad that they found Norwex and I was amazed with the product, so much that I started selling it.
