I love this photo! Do you know how many times your kids touch your glass doors & windows? What about when your child occasionally “licks” the glass door while pressing their face & hands against the glass?
My dogs love to press their noses against the glass, which leaves their "nose prints" behind. It doesn't matter if my dogs are inside or outside, they can make a mess of my glass doors. I am cleaning my glass several times, but I do it the easy way!
Using toxic cleaning products on the windows or glass is not preferred for obvious reasons! What cleaning products are your children or pets ingesting during the course of the day? How long does your cleaning product have to remain on the surface before your surfaces are clean?
It wasn’t until I began to thoroughly read the product instructions on my disinfecting wipes -- the product had to remain "wet” for 4 minutes to clean the surface. WOW!! Although the smell of “clean” was in the air, it took a while! I was still using a chemical that I didn't want my kids or pets to ingest. I tried “green” cleaners, but I was not impressed with their ability to clean nor with the number of disposable paper towels that were required to wipe the cleaner from my surfaces.
With Norwex there are no chemicals necessary! Just use water! So easy to use that you can do it several times a day! If your window or glass is dirty, use the Norwex Antibac Enviro Cloth with water and follow with the Norwex Antibac Window Cloth for a streak-free shine. These products are also available in a Basic Package. A great way start using Norwex and experience how easy it is to use! Start saving time & money!
Don’t put your pets or children at risk of being exposed to toxic chemicals; use something that you can trust. With kids helping & learning to clean using Norwex & water, you will be spending more time enjoying your kids & pets this summer.

What are your summer travel plans?
Going Camping? Boating? Traveling in your RV? Riding Dirt Bikes?
With summer coming soon, many families take to the road in their RV, go camping or boating. Here are a few Norwex products that you may find come in handy during your travels.
The Antibac Enviro Cloths, Travel Cloths, Window Cloth or Car Cloth are a must for traveling in the car or RV! Have you ever stopped to get gas & wondered how you were going to clean your windshield? How about using water & the Car Cloth or Window Cloth? How about using the Antibac Enviro Cloth or Travel Cloths on your hands & face to wash up? My family takes their Body Pack (face cloths) with them and uses them to wash up on the road.
The Dusting Mitt, Enviro Cloth, Window Cloth, Tea Towel & Kitchen Cloths are all great for camping. Use the Tea Towel to dry hands instead of using paper towels. Think of all the paper towels & money you will save on your trip!
My brother & his family enjoy camping. Since the Norwex MOP did such a great job in their house, they took it camping… Here is what I received when they returned.
"I took it camping - no bleach just water and my camper floors were spotless!!!! Who would have ever guessed!"
The Kids Mop & Cloth Package would be great too - and great for a trailer, boat, or cottage.
Since the DishWashing Liquid is biodegradable, it is safe for animals and the environment if you dump out your dishwater into the woods or wherever. Use the EnviroTowel to dry dishes. It is super absorbent and drives quickly.
The Drain Care is safe for RV's, good for maintenance and would be handy to have if you're out in the boonies and get a clog. The Mattress Spray is a great idea for campers. Use it for mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows and all other bedding. It's great especially for seasonal items that may be in and out of storage.
The Body Pack, is awesome for camping! Just add water and you can freshen yourself up a bit whenever you need it. Great for staying clean while "roughing it." If you have children, you will want the Baby Body Pack for a smaller size for their face & body. I had a customer tell me that the body pack gets 'Kool-Aid' mustaches off right away!
You will love all the Antibac Enviro cloths for those nasty itchy mosquito bites - just wipe a wet Antibac Enviro cloth on the itch and it goes away for many hours before you have to reapply!
Here is a tip -- If you get a mosquito bite, apply a little Shea Butter, and it seems to just disappear!
The Sport Towel or Bath Towel is great, since both dry quickly, and don't need to be laundered too frequently. If you need to do laundry, don’t forget you can take along a small container of the Laundry Detergent & dry your cloths quickly using the Dryer Balls.
If your family rides dirt bikes when you go camping, you can't really launder riding gear, especially while out in the wilderness. Everything gets dirty after a few hard rides. The Sportzme is great to freshen up the gear, chest protectors, inside boots and helmets, even socks and jerseys. (After all, it was designed for hockey equipment.) You can also use it to spray down the tents. Especially, if you have smelly boys!
The Odour Eliminator is an excellent deodorant for use in garbage cans/bins, washrooms and removes unpleasant organic odors. Since the Odour Eliminator is highly concentrated and diluted with water, this is a great cost saver.
After you are finished camping, boating or traveling in the RV, put all your Norwex cloths, towels & MOP pads in the Washing Net and you will be ready to toss them in the laundry when you get home.
This from a customer…
"I have to tell you that Norwex is great for traveling. Having cloths that don’t mold when you stick it in a baggie is AWESOME! Also, that green towel is awesome for soaking up water when you are hand washing... things that need to be cleaned."
Now doesn’t this sound like everyone will enjoy the trip?

Happy Earth Day!
What are you doing for Earth Day and Celebrating Mother Earth?
There are small changes that we can make to promote green & healthy living. As I began to think about the changes that my family has been making, I realized that many are simple day-to-day changes.
Here are a few changes that we have been making:
1. We have begun to throw out plastic and use glass containers
2. We are choosing more organics and making fresh food choices
3. Reading labels for ingredients
4. Using a water filtered pitcher for our tap water
5. Recycle & Reuse
To celebrate Mother Earth go for a walk or have a picnic!
Of course, the biggest change that we have made this last year is eliminating toxic chemicals from our household. It is amazing how doing this one thing can bring about a better quality of life!

Norwex Makes Cents
Look at what you could be saving using Norwex Eco-Friendly Products! Norwex will save you time & money.
Save money by reducing the use of chemicals and cleaning supplies up to 90%. The average household spends $450 - $600 a year on these items. Here is a cost evaluation of what you could save over a 2-year time period using Norwex. I have heard customers say that Norwex is "just too expensive". While this may appear to be true, you have to look at what you are saving over time. Yes, you will pay a little more when you "go green", but you have to look at the benefits to your family and the environment.
I used other "green" products, before discovering Norwex, that may have cost the same as other cleaning products, but I still used paper towels or other disposable products to clean. Not with the same result as using Norwex. Norwex provides a satisfaction that my counter tops are 99.9% bacteria free, just using water!
This cost evaluation does not include all the paper towels and other disposable products that you may use with other cleaning products. My family has almost eliminated the need for paper towels.
Spring Cleaning was so much easier with Norwex. Norwex has taken the chore out of cleaning by saving us time. Knowing that everyone can use Norwex makes cleaning so much easier and safer. Cutting my cleaning time by 75% has provided me the time to pursue other activities and hobbies. In today's busy world, decreasing your cleaning time can eliminate a lot of stress.
Spending more time with those that are important in your life -- that is truly important!

When it comes to Spring Cleaning – Less is More!
As Spring has arrived, my thoughts have turned to Spring cleaning.
Have you heard the term “Less is more”? As I began my spring cleaning, I was focused on getting rid of the dust & dirt left behind from the winter months. Using Norwex gives my home a smell of clean. Only using water to make my home clean truly gives me a sense of “less is more”. I don’t have to leave toxic cleaning products on my windows, counters, furniture or floors. As I do dishes & laundry, I realized that I only use 1 teaspoon of detergent – Now that is less than any product! Even the air freshener I use is so concentrated that it has taken me a year to use it up! Compare that to other laundry detergents, dishwasher detergents & air fresheners. The smell of clean smells like nothing and using so little product saves me time & money!
I had a customer that was having difficulty with her kitchen tile & grout. The heavy traffic areas had turned the grout lines dark and left her floor looking dirty. She had tried every non-toxic cleaner from a bleach water solution, ammonia water solution, and vinegar & water spray. Finally, she tried floor & grout cleaners, but nothing ever worked. She had decided that she would have to replace the grout or try to paint it.
I told my customer to try the Norwex Cleaning Paste, an old toothbrush, and water! Well… see for yourself. These are the before & after photos my customer took of her tile and grout.
You can see that the grout line that has been cleaned has returned to its original color. She is thrilled that Norwex has once again proven that it can clean & renew surfaces.
Norwex will save you time, money, improve your family’s health and protect the environment. I have had many customers tell me that their family has been so much healthier using Norwex products. Why smell all those chemicals when going down the store aisles? Imagine how much better you can feel and how much more time you can spend with your family, just changing cleaning products.
Spring is the best time to evaluate how you are cleaning your home and what you can do to help the environment by using eco-friendly products. Make this year the year that you become more eco-friendly.

Silver in our Cloths -- What does that mean?
I have received emails, facebook & twitter comments, or people that just don't understand the concept of using Norwex and the embeded silver. Some believe that Silver is harmful as a chemical. Others believe that the Silver can be absorbed into the skin. Many are not familiar with the use of Silver as an antibacterial agent. While those that work in hospitals or around medical facilities are familiar with silver for burn centers, it is often surprising how many are unsure about using the Norwex Enviro Cloth for use in the home instead of chemicals. Using just water with the Norwex Enviro Cloth is so simple and saves so much time & money. Think of all the Window Cleaner and Paper Towels you are using. I can't tell you the last time I did purchase Paper Towels!
Going "green" is a phrase that everyone wants to use to protect the environment. But what about your health and the health of your family. Be willing to give up your chemical cleansers and protect those you care the most about!
I found that just not purchasing any chemical cleansers was so much easier! I don't even go down the household cleanser isle any more and with that cleanser "smell" I sure don't miss it! If you have asthma or breathing problems, you know what I mean.
I thought perhaps this was the best clarification for those not familiar with Norwex products or the use of Silver as an antibacterial agent. --
Silver in our cloths- Norwex has figured out how to embed silver in the cloths, which is what Antibac means. Why would you want silver? Silver is a natural antibacterial agent, which means no virus or bacteria can live when it is in contact with silver, it actually suffocates. Norwex microfiber cloths remove 99.9% of the bacteria from surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment.
So, Norwex antibac cloths are essentially self-sanitizing. You can clean the dirtiest thing you can imagine and then rinse the cloth, hang it to dry and by the time it is dry, all the trapped bacteria will be dead. Of course, you still launder the cloths to release everything, but the silver does give you piece of mind.
You may see other microfiber cloths that say they have silver, but what they mean is that their fibers are coated with silver, which will eventually wash away, whereas with the Norwex cloths, they are embedded, so the silver is in there for the life of the cloth.
Norwex uses only micro silver, which is perfectly safe. You may have heard about nano silver, which has had some bad press and may not be safe because it may be absorbed into the skin. Micro silver is much too large of a molecule to do that.
I hope this has helped you understand the benefits of cleaning with Norwex microfiber. Norwex can help you live the life you want to live. Norwex will save time & money, improve your family's health by reducing allergies, and preserves the environment for future generations.

Does Norwex Really Work?
I had never heard of Norwex before last year. My kids called to tell me about an amazing product that would allow me to clean my house using just water and Norwex Microfiber removing 99.9% of the bacteria from surfaces. No more chemical cleaners and paper towel. I thought... how is that possible? Is this a gimmick?
My niece, who was going through Stage IV Breast Cancer, had become seriously ill and unable to breathe without the use of oxygen. Her daughter had cleaned my niece's house using the household chemical cleaning products she had always used. When I went to see my niece, she told me she had to go outside while her daughter cleaned her house. At this point, I thought maybe there is something to Norwex. Cleaning with just water could certainly help those with breathing difficulties.
My daughter-in-law sent me a Norwex Enviro Cloth to use. I immediately used it on my granite. My granite had never looked the way I expected it to look. It was not shiny. Shortly after we moved into our house, I requested the granite installers to take a look at my granite and they had told me that it was the stone, it would not look shiny. Maybe a glass cleaner, household chemicals, and sealer would help to improve the look of the granite, after all that is what they used.
When I realized that once the Enviro Cloth removed all the chemical residue from my granite, my granite was streak-free and shiny! I was sold! I couldn't wait to try the other Norwex products.
I returned to my niece's house with my Enviro Cloth to clean her house. This time, she was able to stay in the house while I cleaned.
My story is one that I have heard over and over. Families with children that have allergies and asthma, can not handle the chemical smells and household cleaners. Each breath they take becomes harder for them when the household cleaners that we use today contain toxic chemicals.
I became a Norwex consultant because I believe in the products! Each product that I use, I am amazed at how much cleaner my house stays and how much better it looks. I have certainly found that I am saving time and money! In today's economy that is important!
Since using Norwex, I don't have to shop the household cleaners and detergent isle, which is great for me! When I have customers that say they like the smell of "clean", I can't help but think about my niece that was so thankful to get her house cleaned without using chemicals and just using water.
My goal is to help those with chemical sensitivities understand that there is another way to clean. Norwex works! It is not a gimmick and there are scientific studies to back up the products. It is my goal to continue to share the news of Norwex and help other families become healthier and breathe better!

Drain Care - Consultant Corner
submitted to the Norwex newsletter by Geneviene K
I've been a Norwex user for years...but mainly the cleaning cloths. Every time a new product comes out I am still skeptical for some reason. The Norwex Drain Care was one such product.I have long hair, so sinks and showers where the drain slowly stops flowing "freely" is just a part of life. It's normal for me to always have a bottle of Drano in my house. It's toxic, I don't know what it does to the air I breathe, how worried do I need to be about my pets getting into any residue, or what if anything is it doing to my pipes? So when the Norwex Drain Care arrived, I thought - well, probably won't work, but I'll give it a shot. You pour one scoop of this 'enzymatic powder' down your drain followed by 4 oz of water and it's amazing! The enzymes foam up and then down your drain (fun to watch). No fumes, no gloves, no worries. Drains run clean when it's done. You would think okay that's fine, it's done its job.
The next part is what amazed me most and I only realized several weeks later. I'm use to having to clean my drains every now and then. Well it struck maybe 2 months later, that my drains weren't slowing down...they were STILL CLEAN. This made me think that the Norwex Drain Care had actually worked better than the previous products I used to use. I did not have to do repeated treatments! The Norwex product had probably cleaned out the pipes better than the other product ever did! I'm sure I've had the Norwex Drain Care for several months and have only used it once...I'm sure the little jar will probably last me. How can you not love that?

Are you saving time and money dusting?
When I originally purchased the Antibac Microfiber Dusting Mitt, I was thrilled at how quickly I could dust my house and how well it stayed clean. I wondered how well I could polish my furniture without using the "spray" polish. When I began using the dust mitt, I realized that I didn't need anything else. I have more shine on my furniture than I did with the "spray" polish. Using chemicals attracts dust to the furniture, which meant that I was constantly having to dust my house.
My husband was so pleased, when he used it, that he told me to purchase another Antibac Microfiber Dusting Mitt for his other hand. It is amazing how much faster he can dust using both hands.
Let's Compute --
Cost for Antibac Dusting Mitts (2 @ $14.99 ea) = $29.98
Cost for initial Swiffer Duster Starter pack = $4.97
Swiffer 16-ct Duster refills - 4 @ $11.97 = $47.88
Yearly cost to dust once a week = $52.85
Total Savings for year 1 = $22.87
Total Savings each year after = $47.88
This cost savings does not include any product that you may have used to dust your furniture or if you need more than (1) starter pack.

Dryer Balls save time and money!
If you haven't read my blog "What is so bad about fabric softener", you may want to. Fabric softeners are some of the most toxic products made for daily household use.
Aside from avoiding the harmful ingredients in fabric softeners, you will save money using Norwex Dryer Balls as well. There is an obvious savings when you stop buying fabric softener sheets. However, you may save more money than you realize.
The dryer balls in your dryer work their way between the fabric to lift, separate, soften and more effectively dry your laundry. For each load you dry, you can cut 15 minutes off of the total drying time (from 45 to 30 minutes). If you forget and set the dryer to the full time, you will find that static builds up again – the dryer balls will force you to be more energy efficient!
Let’s compute –
Cost of Dryer Balls = $18.99
6 dryer loads per week * 52 = 312 loads/year
Fabric Softener Sheets – 4 boxes of 80 sheets @ $3.97 = $15.88
Electricity Cost Savings – 312 loads * $0.25 minus 25% = $58.50
Total Savings - $74.38 - $18.99 = $55.39 in the 1st year
$74.38 each year after!
Save time, save money, and protect the environment!
Average dryer load cost for your area may vary.
Energy savings calculated at http://www.csgnetwork.com/elecenergycalcs.html,
currently $0.10120 per KWH

Did you know?
"The Norwex Mission is to improve human life by radically reducing the use of chemicals in personal care and cleaning.”
NORWEX is the global leader in Microfiber technology, and the only distributor of: Silver embedded, Antibacterial Microfiber!DID YOU KNOW?
Norwex products save you time, money and our environment.
80,000 new chemicals have been created over the last decade and they have not been assessed for human impact. Bjorn Nicoliasen
Over 150 chemicals found in the average home have been linked to allergies, birth defects, cancer and psychological abnormalities. Source: Consumer Product Safety Commission
Last year North American consumers used 83,000 tons of disposable wipes? This amount would fill 9,000 tractor-trailer units stretching out more that 62 miles!
54,000 tons of cleaning chemicals are dumped down the drain every year causing toxicological effects on our water systems and air quality due to the chemicals !
Norwex Microfiber removes 99.9% of bacteria and comes with a two-year warranty and a 60-day money back guarantee.
Norwex is licensed with Canada Health; committed to providing high quality environmentally safe products.
Laboratory tests have concluded that Norwex Microfiber Envirocloths (w/ water) will remove more bacteria than household bleach, after washing the cloth 300 times they are still effective at removing 99% of dirt and bacteria. (source: University of Arizona case study)
Norwex Enviro Products (also known as Eidsvoll Miljo Produkter) has maintained 60% of the microfiber market in Europe for the past 7 years. Largely used in commercial applications such as hospitals, schools etc.
Norwex Microfiber has replaced chemical use in Winnipeg School Division #1, various locations in University of Manitoba in addition to other commercial applications.
The British Medical Association quotes “cleaning product fumes make children 4 times more likely to develop asthma”.
A study conducted on cleaning with micro fiber by Michael Archibald of the Royal Roads University, in Victoria, British Columbia concluded, “This system is simple, efficient, and effective, and represents the next generation in cleaning systems. Lastly, this system is as effective as cleaning with chemicals.”
The "California Department of Fish and Game" tested the toxicity of common chemicals found in waterways. Two of the most toxic substances present in the water were: Household Bleach and All-purpose Cleaner.
The toxic chemicals in household cleaners are three times more likely to cause cancer than air pollution.- Environmental Protection Agency, 1985.
Women who work at home have a 54% higher death rate from cancer than those who work away from home. The 15-year study concluded it was a direct result of the much higher exposure rate to toxic chemicals in common household products.
You can help make a difference!

What does CLEAN smell like to you?
True cleanliness does not smell, as there is nothing left behind. --
My storm door window shattered a couple of weeks ago, when a rock flew through it. Today, the window company came and replaced the glass. I was so thankful, I didn't realize how challenging it was not to have my storm door nor did I realize how much heat was removed from the house by the storm door.
When the the guys had completed the installation, they went about cleaning the glass. Usually this is left for the customer, right? Well, they indeed cleaned the glass with a glass cleaner. I couldn't stop them fast enough! The chemical smell was so strong that I couldn't breathe. I had forgotten how great it is to have NO SMELL!
Our sense of smell is connected to our memory. Have you ever had a smell remind you of a childhood memory or a memory of your past? The smell of popcorn can remind you of being at the movies with a friend. It is the only sense that will automatically invoke a reaction or memory.
Many people clean surfaces using a chemical that makes the area smell “clean” or smell like another surface with residuals of a fragrance on it, as opposed to actually removing contaminants.
I have heard customers say that they wanted the "smell" to know that something was clean. I can remember that smell, but I have long since forgotten it! It took me about two weeks to realize that I no longer wanted that "clean" smell. Not having that smell -- I have all but eliminated my family's allergies and asthma symptoms. That is a great feeling!! And knowing that I am doing something for the environment makes me have a sense of accomplishment.
It will take most people a while to accept this using Norwex. Their sense of smell will remind them they are no longer cleaning with a strong chemical, if they are using the Norwex Antibacterial Microfiber Enviro Cloth and water because there is no smell.
My husband quickly got our Norwex Window Cloth and the spray bottle of water and proceeded to clean the glass. The chemical had left streaks all over the window, but now they are streak-free and shiny!
The fresh air may smell if it contains odor particles, so you will want to use natural fragrances in those areas to provide that “fresh scent”. Using the Norwex Odour Eliminator will allow you to eliminate organic odors instantly, safely and without toxic chemicals. It is highly concentrated and leaves no residue. Use the Odour Eliminator for bathrooms, cooking smells, litter boxes, garbage disposals, and diaper pails. Use it as a room deodorizer or use one cap full with a load of laundry to remove smells from clothing.
It is my goal that clean will smell like nothing. What will CLEAN smell like to you?

What is so bad about fabric softener?
Fabric softeners are designed to reduce static in synthetic fabrics. They serve no purpose with natural fabrics. Fabric softeners may contain quarternary ammonium compounds (quats) and imidazolidinyl, both of which are known formaldehyde releasers. For about 5% of people, quats are an extreme sensitizer.
They may cause a variety of asthma-like symptoms, including respiratory arrest. Exposure to formaldehyde can cause joint pain, depression, headaches, chronic fatigue and a variety of other symptoms. In lab tests, formaldehyde has caused cancer and damaged DNA. Both quaternium and imidazolidinyl can cause contact dermatitis.
Fabric softeners work by leaving a residue on the fabric that will never completely wash out. It can cause allergic reactions through skin contact and inhalation.
Fabric softeners may also contain carcinogenic coal-tar dyes, ammonia and very strong scents. When fabric softeners are exposed to hot water, heat from dryers or ironing, vapors may be emitted which can be deeply inhaled, increasing their impact.
Replace your fabric softener with the Norwex Dryer Balls. The unique design of the Dryer Balls lifts and separates landry while softening fabrics. This reduces drying time, static cling and wrinkles naturally, without chemicals. No need for fabric softener or dryer sheets!

On a mission to find the perfect mop?
Here are the things you should look for in a mop to make your life easier:
• mop pads are microfiber (contains static electricity to hold dirt)
• mop pads stick to the base easily and keep sticking over time
• mop pads allow for quick and easy for dusting and shining my floors
• mop pads pick up dust bunnies, crumbs, pet and people hair
• mop is easy to manipulate
• easy to clean mop pads
• mop base stays where you put it - doesn't "flip"
• mop handle telescopes in and out for different mopping jobs
The Norwex Superior mop package comes with the aluminum, lightweight telescoping handle (36" to 63"), a mop base and two microfiber mop pads - a yellow dry pad and a blue antibac wet pad. If you are going to purchase a mop package, I would go with a Superior package, large or small.
Whether you get this mop in the small (13") or large size (20"), the mop pads stick to the base extremely well because of the way they attach with heavy velcro strips - a very secure way of fastening. There is even rubber edging on the base to protect walls.
The Norwex dry pad picks up tons of stuff off the floor that you wouldn't even know was there, and it's great at gathering up dust, pet hair and other "floor yuck" - but it doesn't pick up larger items, those still need to be picked up the old fashioned way - manually!
Ease of use: The Norwex Superior wet mop pad is easy to use if you follow the directions. You're supposed to move the mop over your floor in a Figure-8 pattern. If you do this, it moves easily. If you just scrub the mop back and forth, the "grab" in the microfiber can make the mop hard to move because it feels like it's sticking to your floor, and the base can "flip", as happens with other similarly-constructed mop bases.
What's great about the base of this mop is that it has a handy-dandy little flip-down locking mechanism that you lock and unlock with a mere push. If you don't lock it, the base swivels in every direction - handy for getting under your furniture. If you flip the locker down, the base doesn't swivel anymore, making it great for cleaning walls and shower stalls. You can even buy a mop brackets that snap onto your mop base which allows you to hook on an antibac cloth or window cloth.
The Norwex mop system works extremely well on linoleum, tile, hardwood and even laminate flooring - although with any unsealed flooring you need to be extra careful to get all the water up off the surface of the floor. It also makes cleaning large bath stalls, showers, walls and windows a lot easier.
To take care of your microfiber mop pads: Shake the dry pad outside after sweeping, or brush with the Norwex Rubber Static Brush, and re-use to sweep some more!
When the pads need to be cleaned, they can be washed and dried in your machines using any laundry soap although we do recommend the Norwex Ultra Power Plus detergent, not only because it is highly concentrated wand more cost effective, but also because it is more environmentally friendly. Dry your wet and dry mop pads with low-lint items (eg sheets), because the microfiber will grab lint off other things in your dryer if it gets a chance!
Do Not use fabric softener or bleach. Bleach degrades the microfiber, and fabric softener coats the fibers and wrecks their grabbing power.
(Norwex dryer balls let you dry your laundry faster and without static - no fabric softener required!).
Is the Norwex mop worth the price? Most definitely! It's an extremely high-end mop, and it will last for years and years. The cost of $107.99 (for a large) or $87.99 (for a mini) is comparable to the first year's cost to keep stocked in Swiffer floor-dusting and Wet Jet equipment. After the first year, the Norwex mop system doesn't cost you a dime, and you're not throwing Swiffer pads and empty Wet Jet solution containers in the trash to clutter up our landfill space.
Guarantee: The mop pads (and all Norwex microfiber) comes with an unconditional 60 day satisfaction guarantee, and a 2 year performance warranty.

Change your way of cleaning and improve quality of life for your family?
The Norwex Antibacterial Microfiber offers a safe, fast and cost effective alternative to cleaning with chemicals. You and your family will no longer have to be expose to dangerous toxins that can be found in everyday cleaners with chemicals.
4 Things to Think About....
* Save Money--- By using Norwex, you will dramatically reduce the use chemicals and cleaning supplies up to 90% . An average household spends $450-$600 a year on household chemicals, paper towels and sponges.
* Save Time and Effort---It has been proven that you will cut cleaning time by 75% or more.
* Better Health--- With Norwex products you don't breathe, touch or ingest chemicals. While using this product, you will have a cleaner indoor climate. It is more important that ever to eliminate household chemicals and their adverse effect on allergies and asthma.
* Better Enviornment--- Cleaning with Norwex will help you do your part to preserve the environment for future generations.
Norwex is quickly developing a worldwide reputation for improving quality of life by radically reducing chemicals in cleaning and personal care and for being the world leader in microfiber. These cleaning methods have been proven to dramatically reduce cleaning time and costs while preserving health and environment.
Norwex contains an environmentally friendly antibacterial agent that has passed both FDA and EPA approval. Unique to Norwex microfiber is a silver agent (patent pending), irreversibly bound to the fiber which kills 99.9% of all bacteria the cloth picks up. Norwex microfiber reduces bacteria by 99.9% in 24 hours with laboratory testing
Since bacteria is 99.9% destroyed over 24 hours within the cloth, the silver agent reduces the risk of cross contamination from surface to surface or to your hands from bacteria growth over time.
Bacteria does not become resistant to silver. There is nothing to become resistant because the Bacteria is removed from the surface before destruction.
SILVER - not a chemical but metal with antimicrobial/antibacterial properties. Silver has been known as a natural way to kill bacteria. And it's not harmful to humans.
Norwex uses micro-technology, not nanotechnolgy. There are other antibacterial textiles on the market which utilize nanotechnology (other microfiber cloths, shirts, socks etc...) with silver-laced fibers, (usually says good up to 50-100 washings). In these textiles, the silver washes out over time. Many scientists agree that in this way, silver can actually be a bio-hazard to our water systems, as we need a healthy amount of bacteria to support life in our world. The Norwex silver agent cannot be washed out and is permanent so it poses no threat in any way.

New to Norwex?
If you have never heard of Norwex, you may not be alone. I have recently been asked what is Norwex and how do you use their products. Some want to know how long has Norwex been in business. I decided that the best place to start is with the history and an introduction.
Norwex products originated in Norway in 1994. In Europe, microfiber products have been commonly used in homes, hospitals, schools, hotels and various commercial applications for years. The product line was originally developed for the commercial cleaning industry but a local cleaning company in Norway received a sample of a new cleaning product to use in day to day cleaning.
The ideology was then, as it is now, to produce a more efficient cleaning product where only water needs to be added to the cleaning cloth or mop. This led to the decrease in the use of chemicals and other non-biodegradable detergents.
To maintain a cleaner and healthier environment is still a part of the Norwex philosophy today.
In the Spring of 1999, Norwex expanded into Canada and the United States and experienced great success and growth. The business and product line expanded to include personal care without chemicals.
Norwex can only be purchased from an Independent Norwex Consultant and is typically sold through home/office presentations. Through demonstrations we are able to show how the products are used, how you can save time and money, and protect the environment. For example, an Enviro cloth can remove butter from a window in one swipe leaving the window totally dry and grease-free. Can your cotton microfiber cloth do that? What about the bacteria left behind?
Customer product favorites include the Antibacterial Enviro Cloth, the Window Cloth, the Dusting Mitt, the Superior Mop with the Rubber Brush, Antibac Face Pack, the DeScaler (for hard water), the Laundry Detergent, and Dryer Balls.
All the products come with a 60-day money back guarantee and the Microfiber products come with a 2-year warranty and the dryer balls come with a 1-year warranty.
The benefits of cleaning with microfiber is that microfiber cloths are environmentally friendly. Norwex has developed a unique technology that combines an antibacterial silver-based agent with the microfiber. The antibacterial agent is actually embedded inside the tiny microfiber and destroys the bacterium that is picked up in its fibers. They can reduce the consumption of cleaning chemicals in your home up to 90% while reducing your exposure to toxic fumes. This helps those with allergies, asthma and chemical sensitivities. The microfiber cloths also removes 99.9% of the bacteria from surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment. Norwex microfiber is a fiber that is 1/100th the size of a strand of human hair, unlike the microfiber that you purchase in other retail stores. The microfiber picks up dirt, grease and moisture leaving a surface clean and dry. The traditional cotton cloth pushes dirt and moisture around, leaving the surface moist and unclean.
The Window cloth allows you to clean windows, mirrors, jewelry and shiny surfaces with water alone. Clean dirty surfaces first with a moist Enviro cloth and then polish with the window cloth for a streak-free shine. On less dirty surfaces, simply spray water on the surface and polish with a dry Window cloth.
You can visit my website at http://www.cleanchemicalfreeus.com/ to learn more about Norwex, shop online, or view the monthly specials. Review the Scientific Testing Reports, Technical information and the Norwex MSDS sheets to learn more about the science behind Norwex.
I began using Norwex when my granddaughter was born and my children didn’t want to use household chemicals. My kids are so glad that they found Norwex and I was amazed with the product, so much that I started selling it.

On less dirty surfaces, simply spray water on the surface and polish with a dry Window cloth.

I began using Norwex when my granddaughter was born and my children didn’t want to use household chemicals. My kids are so glad that they found Norwex and I was amazed with the product, so much that I started selling it.

Why Silver Kills Germs and Heals Wounds
Silver’s anti-bacterial powers have been tested and proven scientifically even though its power as a bactericide has been known for centuries. The ancient Phoenicians, for example, knew that water, wine or vinegar kept in silver vessels stayed fresh during long sea voyages.
Only recently, however, have scientists discovered how the white metal does its work. Quite simply, silver interrupts a bacteria cell’s ability to form chemical bonds essential to its survival. These bonds produce the cell’s physical structure so bacteria in the presence of silver literally falls apart. Cells in humans and other animals have thick walls and are not disturbed by silver. Therefore, silver prevents bacteria growth but is harmless to humans.
One of the most important uses of silver as a biocide is in hospitals and other health care facilities because they grapple with MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), a type of life-threatening Staph germ. Also referred to as a ‘superbug,’ MRSA is resistant to almost all chemical antibiotics, so many hospitals are employing silver-imbedded equipment including surgical tools, catheters, needles, stethoscopes, furniture, door handles and even paper files.
One of the most promising applications is in silver-imbedded bandages for burn and wound victims. The silver ions help prevent infection but also speed healing because the body doesn’t have to focus its energy on fighting infection.
Currently we’re seeing a surge of applications for silver-based biocides in all areas: industrial, commercial and consumer. New products are being introduced almost daily. Established companies are incorporating silver based products in current lines - clothing, refrigerators, mobile phones, computers, washing machines, vacuum clearers, keyboards, countertops, furniture handles and more. The newest trend is the use of nano-silver particles to deliver silver ions.
