What are your summer travel plans?

Going Camping? Boating? Traveling in your RV? Riding Dirt Bikes?

With summer coming soon, many families take to the road in their RV, go camping or boating. Here are a few Norwex products that you may find come in handy during your travels.

The Antibac Enviro Cloths, Travel Cloths, Window Cloth or Car Cloth are a must for traveling in the car or RV! Have you ever stopped to get gas & wondered how you were going to clean your windshield? How about using water & the Car Cloth or Window Cloth? How about using the Antibac Enviro Cloth or Travel Cloths on your hands & face to wash up? My family takes their Body Pack (face cloths) with them and uses them to wash up on the road.

The Dusting Mitt, Enviro Cloth, Window Cloth, Tea Towel & Kitchen Cloths are all great for camping. Use the Tea Towel to dry hands instead of using paper towels. Think of all the paper towels & money you will save on your trip!

My brother & his family enjoy camping. Since the Norwex MOP did such a great job in their house, they took it camping… Here is what I received when they returned.

"I took it camping - no bleach just water and my camper floors were spotless!!!! Who would have ever guessed!"

The Kids Mop & Cloth Package would be great too - and great for a trailer, boat, or cottage.

Since the DishWashing Liquid is biodegradable, it is safe for animals and the environment if you dump out your dishwater into the woods or wherever. Use the EnviroTowel to dry dishes. It is super absorbent and drives quickly.

The Drain Care is safe for RV's, good for maintenance and would be handy to have if you're out in the boonies and get a clog. The Mattress Spray is a great idea for campers. Use it for mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows and all other bedding. It's great especially for seasonal items that may be in and out of storage.

The Body Pack, is awesome for camping! Just add water and you can freshen yourself up a bit whenever you need it. Great for staying clean while "roughing it." If you have children, you will want the Baby Body Pack for a smaller size for their face & body. I had a customer tell me that the body pack gets 'Kool-Aid' mustaches off right away!

You will love all the Antibac Enviro cloths for those nasty itchy mosquito bites - just wipe a wet Antibac Enviro cloth on the itch and it goes away for many hours before you have to reapply!

Here is a tip -- If you get a mosquito bite, apply a little Shea Butter, and it seems to just disappear!

The Sport Towel or Bath Towel is great, since both dry quickly, and don't need to be laundered too frequently. If you need to do laundry, don’t forget you can take along a small container of the Laundry Detergent & dry your cloths quickly using the Dryer Balls.

If your family rides dirt bikes when you go camping, you can't really launder riding gear, especially while out in the wilderness. Everything gets dirty after a few hard rides. The Sportzme is great to freshen up the gear, chest protectors, inside boots and helmets, even socks and jerseys. (After all, it was designed for hockey equipment.) You can also use it to spray down the tents. Especially, if you have smelly boys!

The Odour Eliminator is an excellent deodorant for use in garbage cans/bins, washrooms and removes unpleasant organic odors. Since the Odour Eliminator is highly concentrated and diluted with water, this is a great cost saver.

After you are finished camping, boating or traveling in the RV, put all your Norwex cloths, towels & MOP pads in the Washing Net and you will be ready to toss them in the laundry when you get home.

This from a customer…

"I have to tell you that Norwex is great for traveling. Having cloths that don’t mold when you stick it in a baggie is AWESOME! Also, that green towel is awesome for soaking up water when you are hand washing... things that need to be cleaned."

Now doesn’t this sound like everyone will enjoy the trip?

Silver in our Cloths -- What does that mean?

I have received emails, facebook & twitter comments, or people that just don't understand the concept of using Norwex and the embeded silver.  Some believe that Silver is harmful as a chemical.  Others believe that the Silver can be absorbed into the skin.  Many are not familiar with the use of Silver as an antibacterial agent.  While those that work in hospitals or around medical facilities are familiar with silver for burn centers, it is often surprising how many are unsure about using the Norwex Enviro Cloth for use in the home instead of chemicals.   Using just water with the Norwex Enviro Cloth is so simple and saves so much time & money.  Think of all the Window Cleaner and Paper Towels you are using.  I can't tell you the last time I did purchase Paper Towels!

Going "green" is a phrase that everyone wants to use to protect the environment.  But what about your health and the health of your family.  Be willing to give up your chemical cleansers and protect those you care the most about!

I found that just not purchasing any chemical cleansers was so much easier!  I don't even go down the household cleanser isle any more and with that cleanser "smell" I sure don't miss it!  If you have asthma or breathing problems, you know what I mean.

I thought perhaps this was the best clarification for those not familiar with Norwex products or the use of Silver as an antibacterial agent. --

Silver in our cloths- Norwex has figured out how to embed silver in the cloths, which is what Antibac means. Why would you want silver? Silver is a natural antibacterial agent, which means no virus or bacteria can live when it is in contact with silver, it actually suffocates. Norwex microfiber cloths remove 99.9% of the bacteria from surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment.

So, Norwex antibac cloths are essentially self-sanitizing. You can clean the dirtiest thing you can imagine and then rinse the cloth, hang it to dry and by the time it is dry, all the trapped bacteria will be dead. Of course, you still launder the cloths to release everything, but the silver does give you piece of mind.
You may see other microfiber cloths that say they have silver, but what they mean is that their fibers are coated with silver, which will eventually wash away, whereas with the Norwex cloths, they are embedded, so the silver is in there for the life of the cloth.

Norwex uses only micro silver, which is perfectly safe. You may have heard about nano silver, which has had some bad press and may not be safe because it may be absorbed into the skin. Micro silver is much too large of a molecule to do that.

I hope this has helped you understand the benefits of cleaning with Norwex microfiber.  Norwex can help you live the life you want to live.  Norwex will save time & money, improve your family's health by reducing allergies, and preserves the environment for future generations.

On a mission to find the perfect mop?

Here are the things you should look for in a mop to make your life easier:

• mop pads are microfiber (contains static electricity to hold dirt)

• mop pads stick to the base easily and keep sticking over time

• mop pads allow for quick and easy for dusting and shining my floors

• mop pads pick up dust bunnies, crumbs, pet and people hair

• mop is easy to manipulate

• easy to clean mop pads

• mop base stays where you put it - doesn't "flip"

• mop handle telescopes in and out for different mopping jobs

The Norwex Superior mop package comes with the aluminum, lightweight telescoping handle (36" to 63"), a mop base and two microfiber mop pads - a yellow dry pad and a blue antibac wet pad. If you are going to purchase a mop package, I would go with a Superior package, large or small.

Whether you get this mop in the small (13") or large size (20"), the mop pads stick to the base extremely well because of the way they attach with heavy velcro strips - a very secure way of fastening. There is even rubber edging on the base to protect walls.

The Norwex dry pad picks up tons of stuff off the floor that you wouldn't even know was there, and it's great at gathering up dust, pet hair and other "floor yuck" - but it doesn't pick up larger items, those still need to be picked up the old fashioned way - manually!

Ease of use: The Norwex Superior wet mop pad is easy to use if you follow the directions. You're supposed to move the mop over your floor in a Figure-8 pattern. If you do this, it moves easily. If you just scrub the mop back and forth, the "grab" in the microfiber can make the mop hard to move because it feels like it's sticking to your floor, and the base can "flip", as happens with other similarly-constructed mop bases.

What's great about the base of this mop is that it has a handy-dandy little flip-down locking mechanism that you lock and unlock with a mere push. If you don't lock it, the base swivels in every direction - handy for getting under your furniture. If you flip the locker down, the base doesn't swivel anymore, making it great for cleaning walls and shower stalls. You can even buy a mop brackets that snap onto your mop base which allows you to hook on an antibac cloth or window cloth.

The Norwex mop system works extremely well on linoleum, tile, hardwood and even laminate flooring - although with any unsealed flooring you need to be extra careful to get all the water up off the surface of the floor. It also makes cleaning large bath stalls, showers, walls and windows a lot easier.

To take care of your microfiber mop pads: Shake the dry pad outside after sweeping, or brush with the Norwex Rubber Static Brush, and re-use to sweep some more!

When the pads need to be cleaned, they can be washed and dried in your machines using any laundry soap although we do recommend the Norwex Ultra Power Plus detergent, not only because it is highly concentrated wand more cost effective, but also because it is more environmentally friendly. Dry your wet and dry mop pads with low-lint items (eg sheets), because the microfiber will grab lint off other things in your dryer if it gets a chance!

Do Not use fabric softener or bleach. Bleach degrades the microfiber, and fabric softener coats the fibers and wrecks their grabbing power.

(Norwex dryer balls let you dry your laundry faster and without static - no fabric softener required!).

Is the Norwex mop worth the price? Most definitely! It's an extremely high-end mop, and it will last for years and years. The cost of $107.99 (for a large) or $87.99 (for a mini) is comparable to the first year's cost to keep stocked in Swiffer floor-dusting and Wet Jet equipment. After the first year, the Norwex mop system doesn't cost you a dime, and you're not throwing Swiffer pads and empty Wet Jet solution containers in the trash to clutter up our landfill space.

Guarantee: The mop pads (and all Norwex microfiber) comes with an unconditional 60 day satisfaction guarantee, and a 2 year performance warranty.
