Norwex Makes Cents

Look at what you could be saving using Norwex Eco-Friendly Products!  Norwex will save you time & money.

Save money by reducing the use of chemicals and cleaning supplies up to 90%.  The average household spends $450 - $600 a year on these items.  Here is a cost evaluation of what you could save over a 2-year time period using Norwex.  I have heard customers say that Norwex is "just too expensive".  While this may appear to be true, you have to look at what you are saving over time.  Yes, you will pay a little more when you "go green", but you have to look at the benefits to your family and the environment.

I used other "green" products, before discovering Norwex, that may have cost the same as other cleaning products, but I still used paper towels or other disposable products to clean.  Not with the same result as using Norwex.  Norwex provides a satisfaction that my counter tops are 99.9% bacteria free, just using water!

This cost evaluation does not include all the paper towels and other disposable products that you may use with other cleaning products.  My family has almost eliminated the need for paper towels.

Spring Cleaning was so much easier with Norwex.  Norwex has taken the chore out of cleaning by saving us time.  Knowing that everyone can use Norwex makes cleaning so much easier and safer.  Cutting my cleaning time by 75% has provided me the time to pursue other activities and hobbies.  In today's busy world, decreasing your cleaning time can eliminate a lot of stress.

Spending more time with those that are important in your life -- that is truly important!

Silver in our Cloths -- What does that mean?

I have received emails, facebook & twitter comments, or people that just don't understand the concept of using Norwex and the embeded silver.  Some believe that Silver is harmful as a chemical.  Others believe that the Silver can be absorbed into the skin.  Many are not familiar with the use of Silver as an antibacterial agent.  While those that work in hospitals or around medical facilities are familiar with silver for burn centers, it is often surprising how many are unsure about using the Norwex Enviro Cloth for use in the home instead of chemicals.   Using just water with the Norwex Enviro Cloth is so simple and saves so much time & money.  Think of all the Window Cleaner and Paper Towels you are using.  I can't tell you the last time I did purchase Paper Towels!

Going "green" is a phrase that everyone wants to use to protect the environment.  But what about your health and the health of your family.  Be willing to give up your chemical cleansers and protect those you care the most about!

I found that just not purchasing any chemical cleansers was so much easier!  I don't even go down the household cleanser isle any more and with that cleanser "smell" I sure don't miss it!  If you have asthma or breathing problems, you know what I mean.

I thought perhaps this was the best clarification for those not familiar with Norwex products or the use of Silver as an antibacterial agent. --

Silver in our cloths- Norwex has figured out how to embed silver in the cloths, which is what Antibac means. Why would you want silver? Silver is a natural antibacterial agent, which means no virus or bacteria can live when it is in contact with silver, it actually suffocates. Norwex microfiber cloths remove 99.9% of the bacteria from surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment.

So, Norwex antibac cloths are essentially self-sanitizing. You can clean the dirtiest thing you can imagine and then rinse the cloth, hang it to dry and by the time it is dry, all the trapped bacteria will be dead. Of course, you still launder the cloths to release everything, but the silver does give you piece of mind.
You may see other microfiber cloths that say they have silver, but what they mean is that their fibers are coated with silver, which will eventually wash away, whereas with the Norwex cloths, they are embedded, so the silver is in there for the life of the cloth.

Norwex uses only micro silver, which is perfectly safe. You may have heard about nano silver, which has had some bad press and may not be safe because it may be absorbed into the skin. Micro silver is much too large of a molecule to do that.

I hope this has helped you understand the benefits of cleaning with Norwex microfiber.  Norwex can help you live the life you want to live.  Norwex will save time & money, improve your family's health by reducing allergies, and preserves the environment for future generations.

Drain Care - Consultant Corner

submitted to the Norwex newsletter by Geneviene K

I've been a Norwex user for years...but mainly the cleaning cloths.  Every time a new product comes out I am still skeptical for some reason.  The Norwex Drain Care was one such product.

I have long hair, so sinks and showers where the drain slowly stops flowing "freely" is just a part of life.  It's normal for me to always have a bottle of Drano in my house.  It's toxic, I don't know what it does to the air I breathe, how worried do I need to be about my pets getting into any residue, or what if anything is it doing to my pipes?  So when the Norwex Drain Care arrived, I thought - well, probably won't work, but I'll give it a shot.  You pour one scoop of this 'enzymatic powder' down your drain followed by 4 oz of water and it's amazing!  The enzymes foam up and then down your drain (fun to watch).  No fumes, no gloves, no worries.  Drains run clean when it's done.  You would think okay that's fine, it's done its job.

The next part is what amazed me most and I only realized several weeks later.  I'm use to having to clean my drains every now and then.  Well it struck maybe 2 months later, that my drains weren't slowing down...they were STILL CLEAN.  This made me think that the Norwex Drain Care had actually worked better than the previous products I used to use.  I did not have to do repeated treatments!  The Norwex product  had probably cleaned out the pipes better than the other product ever did!  I'm sure I've had the Norwex Drain Care for several months and have only used it once...I'm sure the little jar will probably last me.  How can you not love that?
